We’ve got a busy day ahead of us. We’re making Chili, Pico de gallo, guacamole and jalapeno thingys! The main thing to remember when making multiple dishes is to 1. organize and 2. manage your time.

Yesterday we made our lists and got all the groceries (we had to go to 5 stores to get acceptable jalapenos! There aren’t that many stores in town!)
Today we’re starting with the Chili since that can simmer for a wihle in the crock pot, then we’ll move on to prepping the jalapenos. We can stuff and wrap those and set them aside till about a hour before we go. We make the pico and guac next (like the jalapenos these are a la Pioneer Woman – see her link in my blog role – great stuff!).
An hour before we leave, we’ll pop the peppers in the oven and let the bacon get all crispy and the cheese all gooey…then we’ll pack it all up and head out! I’m gonna be so hungry when we get to the party from smelling all this great food!
